As a follow-up to yesterday's post, here's the 1970 film adaptation of John Christopher's No Blade of Grass. I haven't actually seen the film myself yet - it's been sitting in the digital equivalent of my DVD watch pile - but I understand it isn't a patch on the original novel. However, it's directed by Cornel Wilde so it's bound to be interesting at least.
